BelleHavens was the first equity club in the destination club industry, and offered its members a superior alternative to owning and maintaining one or multiple second homes. Similar in structure to a golf country club, BelleHavens’ members collectively owned and used an exclusive portfolio of luxury properties in a variety of phenomenal locations around the world. Club homes offered a spacious private experience in tandem with services and amenities not ordinarily provided in second homes.

BelleHavens was founded by Banyan in 2003. Darin Gilson managed all facets of the Club’s growth and operations and then led the sale of the company to Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) in 2008. Through the acquisition of BelleHavens, A&K has launched a destination club division, known as the Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club (www.akresidenceclub.com), and has quickly become one of the leading clubs in the industry.
