| Mr. Richards joined Banyan Ventures on January 1, 2004 as a general partner. As a Banyan partner, Stephen currently oversees the Firm’s investment in Graywhale CD Exchange, where he serves as the company’s Managing General Partner. Prior to joining Banyan Ventures, Stephen served as Vice President of Business Development & Corporate Counsel for Tessera Technologies (NASDAQ: TSRA). Prior to joining Tessera, Stephen worked as Vice President of Corporate Finance at Robertson Stephens and as a Lawyer with Latham & Watkins. In his capacity as a Lawyer and Investment Banker, Stephen has worked with public and private companies in corporate finance (equity, debt and convertible securities) and in mergers and acquisitions. Stephen graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University with his Juris Doctorate in 1989. |
