TYLER THATCHER — PARTNER
Tyler Thatcher is a founding partner of Banyan Ventures, and he currently oversees Banyan’s investment in CarbonX, where he serves as the company’s President and board member. He also sits on the board of Metro Ready Mix and serves as the Chairman of the Board of the American Lung Association of Utah.
Tyler joined Banyan from Campus Pipeline, where he served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Tyler helped raise more than $80 million in venture funding to fuel Campus Pipeline’s growth. He also managed the accounting, investor relations, HR, legal and facilities functions.
Prior to joining Campus Pipeline, Tyler served as the Director of Investor Relations for Iomega Corporation (NYSE: IOM), where he worked with leading investors and market analysts. Tyler has an MBA from Brigham Young University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in International Finance from BYU.
